HALL CUSTOM HOMES ONLY LOCAL BUILDER SELECTED BY HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH CAROLINA FOR PINNACLE AWARD
Hall Custom Homes, a Murrells Inlet-based custom home builder, is this year's only local recipient of The Home Builders Association (HBA) of South Carolina's annual Pinnacle Award for outstanding craftsmanship in the construction of quality homes.
Awards were presented in seven categories, as defined by estimated cost of construction. Homes entered must have been completed after October 1, 2001. Categories include homes built for $200,000 and under, up to $2 million and higher.
Hall Custom Homes was recognized as the Honorable Mention winner for the Davis residence in the $500,00 to $750,000 category. The Davis residence, a 4-bedroom and 6- bathroom home, is located on Pawleys Island, overlooking the North Inlet. The elegant, 7,769 square foot home was designed to incorporate the view of the marshes and inlet into the home setting.
Bolding Quality Construction, Inc. of Williamston, SC, was the overall winner in the
$500,000 to $750,000 category for the Sonne residence, in Seneca, SC.
Hall Custom Homes is celebrating their 20 th Anniversary this year. The company has completed more than 850 custom homes along the coast of South Carolina. Hall Custom Homes is owned and operated by Clinch Heyward and Harry Dill, who is a two-time winner of the Horry-Georgetown Homebuilders Association “Builder Of The Year.”
Hall Custom Homes is also the developer of Waterford Plantation, in the Carolina Forest area. Additionally, company founder Glen Hall was responsible for development of residential communities in Savannah, Georgia, and Myrtle Beach, including Myrtle Trace, the area's most successful age-restricted community.
